Saint-Georges d'Oleron
Relax by the swimming pools of our campsite in Oléron
Our campsite on the Ile d'Oléron with swimming pool offers you two attractive aquatic areas for young and old alike. Fancy a sunbath, choose the outdoor swimming pool of the campsite. The weather is not looking good, let yourself be guided to the deckchairs of the covered and heated swimming pool. Between your daily stops in our two swimming pools, take a few moments to visit the unmissable places of the Island. The Chassiron lighthouse is worth a visit, you will recognize it by its very particular appearance made up of three black bands distinguishing it from its neighbour, the Baleines lighthouse on the Ile de Ré. Go to the northern tip of the island, also called the end of the world, to discover the lighthouse and its gardens. In the lighthouse rotunda, listen to the story of a young castaway from the tip whose misadventure is deciphered through objects, testimonies... In general, the place is consecrated and revolves around daily life and island skills. Then take a walk in the gardens of the lighthouse, a reconstruction of a vegetal compass rose. A vast program of visits is proposed by the monument to approach the richness of the surrounding biodiversity as well as the thousand-year-old traditions linked to fishing techniques in the region. One of the visits can be particularly attractive in high season, it is the discovery of the lighthouse at night, which only a small number of privileged people will have the opportunity to follow. Discover many other excursions during your holidays in our campsite with swimming pool in Oléron, L'Anse des Pins****.
